Rob Grosso, founder of SNK and head coach of West Essex High School's Varsity Boys Soccer team, was recently named Coach of the Year by NJ.com. Grosso, a former state championship-winning coach at Millburn, is in his 12th season at the helm of the Knights. The 12 wins mark the second-highest total in Grosso’s tenure at West Essex.

This honor comes after an impressive 12-7-3 season, where Grosso guided the WEHS Knights to a No. 2 seed in North 1, Group 2 and a spot in the Section Semi-Finals, where they were defeated by eventual champions Glen Rock. This accomplishment is especially meaningful given the team's struggles in previous years, including a 1-11-3 record and no state tournament appearances since 2018. The Knights also hadn't secured a playoff win since 2017.

Coach Leo L.

Leo Licciardello has been working at SNK since March 2021 and is now the program coordinator, and handles SNK’s website, social media and other media content.
